TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Terre Haute South Vigo High School's band is tuning up for a big competition.
From the brass to the color guard, the band is practicing and preparing for the Bands of America Indianapolis Regional on Saturday.
The band's performance is called "Bugs" and showcases the sounds and colors of the insect world. This marks the first time Terre Haute South will be part of the prestigious competition.
"We're not too concerned how we place competitively, it's an honor to play in Lucas Oil Field. It's such an amazing venue," Terre Haute South band director Tim Murphy said.
Saturday's show will be Terre Haute South's last show of the season.
