TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Local police need your help to aid a child fighting a debilitating disease.
Soggy Donuts, a charitable organization made up of Terre Haute police, is hosting a fundraiser.
They're trying to raise money for the family of Gunner Cox. Gunner is a 2-year-old born with downs syndrome.
As a result, his lungs are underdeveloped. So, to help pay for medical costs, The Soggy Donuts group held a fish fry and raffle Saturday evening.
Organizers hope their efforts pay off in a big way.
