TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Creations by some local college students will help our country's military operations.

Rose Hulman Institute of Technology seniors designed two projects for the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Crane, Ind.
One of the projects will help with weapons testing, automating the process of hand measuring the testing process.

The other will help plot weapons targets, which could be a time saver for military operations.

"Because I'm from a military family and because I'm really excited about helping the military, this is actually a tangible effort to do something to give back to the nation," Rose Hulman Drew Houven said.

The projects were on display Wednesday as part of the Senior Projects Expo.

Other projects included one to help the Mayo Clinic, and other for the Chicago Merchantile Exchange.
