Terre Haute police help after shooting

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - While the investigation continued in the shooting death of a toddler in Midland, Terre Haute police were assisting as well.

Greene County officials asked Terre Haute police to search several places in the area Sunday night to see if they could locate an individual who may be linked to the shooting.

Police said they did not find the person at any locations, the person's identity is not being released tonight.

Police said the person was not described a suspect or necessarily a person of interest at the time.
