TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - A local college helped some of its students find jobs Thursday.
The line went out the door of a classroom on the campus of
Indiana Business College in Terre Haute.
Students got the opportunity to meet potential employers face
to face.
They were able to use networking skills they learned in class
to see if they'll stand out when applying for a job.
"I think it gives them the opportunity to use the soft skills
that they have learned in school and it gets to show the employers
that they have the skills necessary for the job market today,"
Nicole Garner from the college said.
