TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Librarians were on hand to describe free library services and
resources available to Indiana State University's staff and
students at ISU's Fall Library Extravaganza.
Organizers said the event is important because it welcomes
the entire ISU campus community to the library. It also lets
students know about services offered by the library and other
school departments.
"It's a great opportunity for freshman to learn not only what the library has to offer but how friendly the people are who work here and how we really want to help the students," said ISU Library Dean Alberta Comer.
More than 5,000 students and staff attended the extravaganza.
