Fire destroys home while
family Christmas shops

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - A Terre Haute family's house catches fire while they were shopping.
It happened yesterday at a house on Thompson Street near Voorhees Park.
A neighbor told News 10 they saw the house on fire and got in contact with the homeowner.
Nobody was hurt.
However, the family's dog did not make it out alive.
The cause of the fire is not known.
