Investigation continues in Greene County armed robbery

SOLSBERRY, Ind. (WTHI) - Ruth and Ivan Sparks say two masked gunman broke into their Solsberry home on the morning of December 26th.

The burglars tied them up and stole money and other valuables, like jewelry, from the couple's home.

The Greene County Sheriff's Department and Indiana State Police are working together to find out who's responsible.

"Items were found at the residence that were of evidentiary value that are going to be taken to our lab for forensic analysis," said Indiana State Police detective Brad Stille. "Should be a priority to the lab. Hopefully within a few days we'll have an answer."
