TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - The Fifth Third home ownership mobile, or E-bus, rolled into Terre Haute Wednesday.
The E-bus is a mobile money classroom, complete with computers and internet service. People on board can request and review free credit reports, credit counseling and money management strategies and receive a consultation on foreclosure prevention.
"It's important to go out where people live and work. To help them understand that there is services out there for them, to bring the services to them, to keep people from being intimidated by going into the bank," community development officer Sandra Sandifer said.
The E-bus will be at the Terre Haute housing authority on N 19th St Thursday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and then later from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
