Crime Stoppers fugutive turns himself in

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - A local fugitive is behind bars Friday.

Thursday night, News 10 told you about Harley Weir on our Crime Stoppers report.

Police were searching for him after he allegedly hit a deputy squad car.

Police told News 10 Weir turned himself into authorities Friday morning, after seeing himself on our Crimestoppers segment the day before.

He was also wanted on other charges, including possession of meth and domestic battery.

His bond is set and 28 thousand 500 dollars, and he is scheduled to appear in court Monday.
