TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - The First Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Terre Haute asked the community to recycle newspapers, by making clothes.

They had to construct the wearable art with at least 85 percent newspaper and it had to resemble an item of clothing.

People showed off their creativity with everything from ballgowns to high heels. Friday night, the community is invited to view the items and to pick out their favorites.

"We'd like the public to come out and see. There are really some amazing things here made out of paper," office administrator Carolyn Brown said.
