TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - There is writing on the front of the Terre Haute Children's Museum. There are different sized bricks that are being engraved and personalized.

Anyone can buy a brick and prices range from $79 to $1,000 per brick. There are enough bricks around the building still vacant.

The children's bricks can have one line. The bigger bricks or limestones can have businesses or family names.

People can also purchase bricks for a new, educator's corner, which honors teachers or coaches. Construction on it just began.

"It is to allow people to have a permanent involvement in the children's museum and allow themselves to be recognized. It has proven to be an excellent fundraiser for the museum," Executive Director of the Terre Haute Children’s Museum Scott Williams said.

The money for bricks is donated to the Capital Campaign.  So far they have exceeded the goal and have raised $236,000.
