TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - The last known caboose to be built in Terre Haute will be the site of a difficult Eagle Scout Project Thursday.
This was the first step of Boy Scout Jessie Fox's road to becoming an Eagle Scout.
The caboose is over 100 years old and served on the Pennsylvania railroad. It is now being refurbished to restore what it was like 100 years ago.
"It's been around whenever I've been in scouts. We went down to Dobbs Park for a trip as a Tiger Scout and I said I want to rebuild this for my Eagle Scout Project," Fox said.
The caboose was moved from Dobb's Park to the Wabash Valley Railroader's Museum.
