TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Terre Haute firefighters said more people are behind bars, charged with arson.
Just in the past few weeks News 10 has reported two different suspicious fires in the area, one at Zim Marss. However, officials said they're working hard to capture those arsonists.
Fire officials said that 22 people have been arrested for arson
this year so far. That's compared to under 10 arrested each for the
last three years.
Officials attribute the spike in arrests to more focus placed
on catching suspects.
They said community help is essential for success.
