Accident on 7th sends one to hospital

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - An early morning accident sent one person to the hospital.
Around 7 a.m. Monday, deputies from the Vigo County Sheriff's Department were called out to an accident against a person and vehicle.
Police said John Dinkel was headed south on 7th St. when Terry Batson was apparently attempting to walk across the road.
Dinkel swerved to try and miss Batson, but was unable to avoid a collision.
Batson was life-lined to an Indianapolis hospital.
Dinkel was not injured.
