TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Certain products that help prevent the flu are in high demand at Baesler's Market on Poplar Street. Some of these products include hand sanitizers, face masks and latex gloves.

Orange juice sales are also rising, but no more than they would for your average flu season.

The product that is flying off the shelves is hand sanitizer.

"We can't hardly keep hand sanitizers on the shelf. People are buying them by the tens, twenties. We actually just recently got in these spray hand sanitizers and people are spraying them on their carts, they're spraying them on their children's hands. Anything to disinfect," assistant manager Casey Baesler said.

Baesler's is trying to put automatic hand-sanitizer dispensers throughout the store, but they are on back order. They hope to have them in a few weeks.
