TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Hoosier Handpak in Terre Haute said around 55 people will be laid off by the end of January. That's the majority of the workers at the business.
A Human Resource representative said the bad economy is to blame for the layoffs.
Sony is one of their major customers, and they plan to do more work within their own business.
Hoosier Handpak hopes to build their customer base making the layoffs temporary.
