VERMILLION COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) - South Vermillion High School was placed on lockdown Thursday afternoon.
Just before 2:00 p.m. police were called to the school after a student attempted to stab a teacher. Officials said the student brought a kitchen knife to school.
The student is in the custody of the Vermillion County Sheriff.
