PARKE COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) - Weather caused a fatal accident over the weekend.

Police said 42-year-old Lori Bradshaw, of Terre Haute, died while driving on State Road 59, just south of Bellmore in Parke County. The accident happened just before 10 a.m. Saturday.

Police said Bradshaw was driving a Chevy Blazer when it hydroplaned and crossed the center line. Her car then hit a vehicle going southbound.

The driver of that vehicle, 40-year-old Troy Bender, of Bloomingdale, was taken to the Clay County Hospital with serious injuries to his chest and arms.

Police continue to investigate the crash, but said drugs and alcohol were not factors.
