PARKE COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) - Officials are now calling a shooting in Parke County a murder-suicide.
Friday, Parke County Sheriff's Department responded to a call at the Lee Alan Bryant Health Care Facility.
There, they found two male employees dead. Sheriff's deputies have released the names of the employees. They said Ryan Clark of Mecca and Kenneth Godfrey of Rockville were found dead at the facility.
It started with what they're calling an altercation. Clark and Godfrey were arguing about their duties at the Lee Alan Bryant Health Care Facility.
That argument led to Clark killing Godfrey and a later killing himself. Officials describe what happened.
"We're thinking about a quarter till three, he came to work, went in where the other individual was, shot him then left that building went across the street into an area that he kind of worked in, a maintenance area and then took his own life," Parke County Sheriff, Mike Eslinger said.
Toxicology reports indicate that Clark had Marijuana in his system at the time of his death.
Again sheriff's deputies are not continuing any further investigations into the case.
