Veterans honored in southern Illinois

OLNEY, Ill. (WTHI) - Folks in southern Illinois honored veterans Wednesday.

People in Olney, Ill. held a special Veterans Day parade to show their support for area service men and women.

The city also held a ceremony at the Richland County courthouse after the parade.

The East Richland High School Band honored all the branches of the service, as they were recognized by the local VFW. After the service, veterans, as well as the high school band, were treated to lunch by the local VFW.
