Woman sentenced for killing 2-year-old

MONTGOMERY, Ind. (WTHI) - A southern Indiana woman is now headed to prison after pleading guilty to killing her son.
Twenty-three-year-old Vadney Blake, of Montgomery, was sentenced to 20 years in prison and 10 years on work release.
Blake pled guilty to a charge of battery resulting in death. The charge stemmed from the beating of her 2-year-old son, Jalen, who died in an Indianapolis hospital in June 2008.
