JASONVILLE, Ind (WTHI) - Whether it's boating, swimming or camping, it's kick back and relax time for many.

"It gets you away from what you are normally doing. It is just kind of nice to get away from all the uproar in town. It is nice to just kind of kick back and relax", said camper Tyler Messer.

Getaways may get cut short if the Indiana House of Representatives and Governor Mitch Daniels do not start seeing eye to eye.

That means that the state government could shut down. This could include the local Medicaid office, BMV and more importantly for some the unemployment office.

"It looks like I wouldn't have any money that way, no body would there is a lot of people that go there that lost their job after working 40 years, they won't have anything to pay their bills with or nothing," said Messer.

"If we have to get kicked out the first, I hope we get our money back at least," said camper Dustin Riker.

It will be a little bit of payback for what could be a big hassle for many.

Negotiators for both republicans and democrats say there's been no movement toward a compromise.
