January Make a Difference Winner

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Marine Corps Reserve of Terre Haute received the January's Make a Difference award for their efforts during the 2008 Toys for Tots drive.

Starting in October, the Marines kicked off their Toys for Tots drive. They held fundraising drives at Toys R Us and the Honey Creek Mall.

"These marines put in many hours and we work so hard. Sergeant Ward has put in countless hours.. putting in weekends and throughout the night," 1st Sergeant Michael Taylor said.

These Marines went the extra mile to make others in our community feel loved, so it's only right to say thank you for a job well done.
