Man dies in Daviess County accident

One man was killed in an accident on State Road 57 in Daviess County Tuesday morning.

The crash happened just before 9 a.m., north of Plainville.

Police said 24-year-old Kyle T. Suter, of Indianapolis, was driving south on S.R. 57 when he failed to negotiate a curve and ran off the road. He drove into a ditch and then hit a tree head on.

Suter was removed from the vehicle and taken to the Daviess Community Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Police said no one else was in the vehicle and Suter was wearing a seat belt.
