CLINTON, Ind. (WTHI) - Another group of Wabash Valley students pushed up their sleeves Wednesday to get protected from the H1N1 virus.
The South Vermillion School Corporation held clinics at its schools Wednesday. Nurses were on hand to administer the nasal mist and injectable vaccine to students.
The corporation's nurse said she has had many phone calls about the shot from parents wondering if their child should get it.
"As I've been able to educate people and more information is provided, the correct information is provided by the media and the education is getting out there, that parents are finding out that this really is a good thing and it is safe for their child," Debby Short said.
Junior high and high school students were vaccinated Wednesday during the day. Elementary school students were vaccinated Wednesday at the middle school.
