CLAY COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) - Indiana Conservation Officers arrested three people, following an investigation at the Chinook Fish and Wildlife Area in Clay County.
The investigation began when un-uniformed officers noticed very graphic graffiti and suspicious activity on the property. There had also been some complaints from the public.
Seventy-four-year-old Lowell Harbour, of Terre Haute, was charged with public indecency. Sixty-one-year-old Lee Anstead, of Brazil, is facing a charge of public indecency and possession of a hand gun without a permit. Fifty-six-year-old Stephen Ardell, of Staunton, was charged with possession of handgun without a permit.
Indiana Conservation Officers said they will continue working to maintain a safe and family environment on state properties.
