BICKNELL, Ind. (WTHI) - A huge load made its way to a new home in southern Indiana and tied traffic up a little along the way.
A police escort brought an extra wide load through Bicknell on the way to the new power plant under construction near Edwardsport.
The 280,000 pound load is part of the radiant synth-gas cooler for the new plant. The equipment was built in Italy, shipped to Mobile, Ala. than brought by barge to Mount Vernon, Ind.
The final 118 miles over the roadway took two days.
