Trial set for Bicknell judge and wife

BICKNELL, Ind. (WTHI) - A court date has been set for a southern Indiana judge and his wife.

Last week, authorities in Knox County filed five counts of theft against Bicknell City Court Judge Andrew Moreland. Police also brought similar charges against Moreland's wife, Cindy.

The pair are accused of taking around $20,000 from the accounts of the Bicknell City Court.

Andrew Moreland and Cindy Moreland are free on $65,000 bond each and both are now set for an initial hearing on Nov. 3 in Knox Superior Court.
