Man hospitalized after accident

VIGO CO. Ind. (WTHI) - A man was taken to the hospital Friday evening after his vehicle was T-boned by a Ford Explorer.

Around 5 p.m. rescue workers were called to the scene at McDaniel and Woodsmall Road in Vigo County.

A gray Ford Explorer was heading East on Woodsmall. Officials said two females were in the Explorer when the driver of the red Ford Ranger ran a stop sign.

The driver t-boned a red Ford Ranger which was going North on McDaniel. The driver of the ranger was taken to Regional Hospital. Witnesses said he was trapped in his vehicle for quite some time.

No names or conditions have been released.
