Susan Dinkel
NEWS TEAM - Susan Dinkel isnews director and Midday Anchor for News 10 - WTHI in Terre Haute, Ind.
She joined the WTHI team in 1995 after graduating from DePauw University.
In 2008, the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences' Ohio Valley Chapter awarded Susan with a regional Emmy award in the Feature News Report-Series Category for "New Day, New Way." This series focused in on the Indiana Air National Guard saying goodbye to its F-16s and its name and hello to two new high tech missions.
Susan's earned two Midwestern Regional Emmy nominations. Her work has also been recognized by the Associated Press, Society of Professional Journalists, Indiana Broadcasters Association and the Indiana State Teachers Association.
Susan was born and raised in Terre Haute, where she resides with her husband and two daughters. She is very active in her community.
Susan believes in giving back to her profession. She serves on the Board of Governors for the Ohio Valley Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences as the Indiana Vice President.
