SOUTH BEND, Ind. (AP) — Local news media say an aircraft has crashed into a home near South Bend Regional Airport in northern Indiana.
The South Bend Tribune, WSBT-TV and WNDU-TV are reporting the neighborhood where the plane crashed is being evacuated because of a gas leak.
WSBT report on its Twitter feed that the plane was a Lear jet.
A message seeking information was left for a Federal Aviation Administration representative.
