TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - A local ministry helping get much needed supplies to Haiti.

Volunteers at Covenant Cooperative Ministries spent part of Tuesday afternoon loading medical supplies into a van. The items were donated by St. Ann's Clinic and the Senior Education Ministries in Terre Haute. Everything from artificial limbs to surgical supplies to medications will soon be headed to Haiti.

"It's always interesting to me, and fascinating, when you can, when we're able to come up with the things they're asking for, cause that doesn't always happen. But we know that this is the most critical need right now, medical supplies," says Rose Aycock of Covenant Cooperative Ministries.

Covenant Cooperative Ministries is also taking donations for items such as peanut butter, bagged beans and pasta, as well as blankets and hygiene items. If you want to make a donation, you can drop them off at Covenant Cooperative Ministries office located at 122 10 1/2 Street in Terre Haute.
