VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) - A man is behind bars tonight following a burglary, after a witness confronts him with a handgun.
Deputies responded to a report of a possible burglary in eastern Vigo County.
A witness had seen a male exit a vehicle and enter the home. The vehicle then left the scene.
A short time later, the man left the house and began walking.
The vehicle returned to the scene and the witness confronted the driver with a handgun while calling 911.
The driver fled the scene but the witness was able to get a plate number.
Police identified Kenneth Ingle of Seelyville, Ind. as the owner of the vehicle.
Ingle was arrested for burglary and taken to the Vigo County Jail.
The identities of the other male subject and a female passenger are unknown at this time.
