TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - After months of uncertainty following Jack Berry Jr.'s disappearance, the family wants answers.
"We kind of held out hope that he might still be found alive,
but now we know that's not going to be," JB's father Jack Berry
said.
However on Friday, police told the family that JB was
dead.
Police arrested Brent England. Police said they found blood, DNA belonging to JB in England's truck.
"We're shocked that a friend, best friend as JB referred him
would do something like this," JB's sister Chrissy John said.
They said trying to explain this to his 6-year-old son is the
hardest thing.
"He thought daddy was mad at him because he won't answer his
cell phone," John said.
The family said they can't understand why or how this
happened.
All they're asking is for England to tell them what's happened to JB.
"I think once we locate him that's when we'll really start healing," John said.
