TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Thursday evening the Terre Haute Young Leaders held a fundraiser and recruiting event.

It took place at the Copper Bar in Terre Haute.

The organization is an offset of the Chamber of Commerce.

It aims to help young people make contacts that can further their careers in business.

The organization also works to fund projects that make a difference in the community.

We're a very fun group.  You don't have to attend every meeting.  It's a ten dollar membership fee.  We like to have fun, but we like to do good for the community too, “ Stephanie Miller, from the Terre Haute Young Leaders said.

Anyone between the ages of 21 and 40 can join Terre Haute Young Leaders.
