West Terre Haute man seriously injured after hit and run

Police say around two Thursday morning, 18-year-old Michael Niccum Junior was found in the middle of Old Bennett's lane and Old Paris Road in West Terre Haute.

Niccum had been seriously injured and was later flown to an Indianapolis hospital.

Vigo County Sheriff Jon Marvel said right now, they're looking at the car of the person who called-in the accident.

That person told police they didn't stop because they allegedly had a suspended license.
but that car does have some damage on the left front side, but police were told it's from a prior incident.
