TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Dave Crooks of DLC Media, Inc. announced Tuesday afternoon his media company will purchase the WAXI-FM 104.9 station from Crossroads Investments, LLC, and move the station back to its : in Rockville.

The station was moved from Rockville to Terre Haute in 2002.

WAXI recently changed their music format at the request of Crooks from Classic Rock to “The True Oldies Channel,” featuring the greatest hits from the ‘50s, ‘60s, ‘70s and ‘80s.

There will also be an addition of a new morning show, featuring local talent, as well as more continued coverage of Parke Co. High School sports and Chicago Cubs Baseball, with additional programming to be added in the future.
