TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - A local church getting ready to feed hundreds of hungry people on Thanksgiving.

St. Patrick's Church in Terre Haute finished the preps today on their annual Thanksgiving dinner.

It's a tradition that's been going on for more than 30 years.

Officials are planning for the place to be packed.

We'll end of serving anywhere between 800 to 900 meals tomorrow, either by delivery, eating here at the cafeteria, or a take out," said Joe Newport, event manager.

More than 100 people donated turkeys or desserts for the event.
