TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Vigo County Schools reorganized their board officers to kick off the new year.
Monday, Vigo County's School Board met for the first time in 2013. They had an organizational meeting.
There, they elected several key positions. Paul Lockhart was named board president.
Tammy Pearson was named Vice President. Meanwhile, Alpa Patel and Jackie Lauer were named secretary and deputy secretary respectively. Mel Burks, Paul Lockhart and Jackie Lauer were also re-sworn in Monday, after winning their district elections.
