Vermillion Rise Mega Park and IDNR to announce conservation plans

CLINTON, Ind. (WTHI) - The Vermillion Rise Mega Park in partnership with Indiana Department of Natural Resources will announce their efforts for nature conservation within the Mega Park during their open house on Saturday.
They plan teach the public about the area and conservation efforts taking place, and discuss their conservation efforts as part of the overall Reuse Plan for the redevelopment of the former Newport Chemical Depot.
The open house will be held on June 9 at Vermillion Rise Mega Park, located at 1000 S.R. 63, just south of Newport, IN. Representative from IDNR will be at the open house to answer any questions regarding the development of the conservation area.
