TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - One United Way donor drove home with a brand new Chevy Sonic Friday afternoon, after winning a contest from the organization.
Through the contest, anyone who gave $50 more to the United Way of the Wabash Valley than they gave the previous year was given a chance to win the new car.
Of those, three finalists were chosen to appear at Terre Haute Chevrolet for a final drawing Friday. Each of the three picked a car key out of a hat and then tried their key in the car.
The third donor to try, W. A. Trinler, was able to start the car with his key.
