TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - The Vigo County Health Department is at Terre Haute South Vigo High School to administer the Varicella (Chicken Pox) vaccine to students that have been undertreated for the virus.

Students at both Terre Haute South and Booker T. Washington have been affected by the Chicken Pox recently.

As of Wednesday morning, school administrators announced both schools are currently experiencing a Chicken Pox outbreak.

The VCHD is holding a clinic for the students; however, they have made the decision to label TH South as an outbreak zone, and they will be taking the proper avenues to deal with the situation.

News 10's Brittany Earl is at the scene and will bring you the latest as it becomes available.
