Traffic stop leads to drug arrest

VINCENNES, Ind. (WTHI) - A Terre Haute man faces a drug charge after a traffic stop in Knox County.

At 11:30 Tuesday morning, police stopped a driver for making an improper turn at 9th Street and College Avenue in Vincennes.

During the stop the officer got suspicious about possible illegal drug activity.

A search of the vehicle found more than 60 grams of marijuana, nearly $700 in cash, digital scales and numerous empty plastic baggies.

Police arrested Cole Walls, 18, of Terre Haute, and Trevor Humes, 21, of Anderson.

Both are being held in the Knox County jail on bond.

They each face a felony charge of dealing marijuana.
