TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - For the past week, it may seem like Terre Haute has become Giants country with native Steve Weatherford on the roster.

Indiana doesn't have their hometown Colts in this year's Super Bowl, but in Terre Haute, there's still a hometown native to cheer for Sunday Night.

Vigo County school Superintendent Danny Tanoos and his wife Claudia are hosting their annual Super bowl party.

But this year's celebration is all about the New York Giants.

The Tanooses are close friends of Weatherford's and were all decked out in number five's gear; table clothes, drink cozies, and all for their personal giant.

They even had a banner made for the Terre Haute North Alumnus; and as far as a prediction, Tanoos thinks Weatherford will play a key role in the outcome.

"I predict it's going to be a game winning field goal that Steve holds the ball for, Deossi snaps and Tynes kicks a field goal with three seconds left and they win 27-24,” Danny Tanoos said.
