TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - The Terre Haute International Airport puts some finishing touches on their remodel.

The Touchdown in Terre Haute committee gathered at the airport Wednesday to get a tour of the new, modern look of the facility.

The Indianapolis Airport is at capacity, so any planes still coming in for the Super Bowl may have to land in Terre Haute.

Airport officials say they'll be able to show their new facility to the maximum number of people in a short amount of time.

"Pilots and passengers, this is their first view of the town and the airport, so we're trying to create the image of what we're used to seeing and what we've come to expect flying into the other airport and we're trying to represent that here," Hoosier Aviation Owner Jordan Brown said.

The airport is throwing a super bowl party and raffle for pilots that aren't going to the game.

The hope is the remodel will be an investment for the community and just the beginning of great things to come.
