TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - We are currently in a thawing pattern, after just having freezing conditions.

This back and forth can create some problems with out roadways in the way of potholes.

In Terre Haute, the street department has a program in place that helps them keep a listing of the potholes developing across the city.

The program is called 311.

The street department says your input is critical to the success in getting potholes fixed filled and fixed.

“We have two trucks to fix potholes, sometimes three and it’s a big city, so to find every pothole is just not realistic. When they are reported, it just helps us out that much more,” Brad Anderson from the Terre Haute Street Department said.

You can report problems at the city’s website by clicking here.
