SULLIVAN, Ind. (WTHI) - Another Wabash Valley community gathered together to honor the victims killed in the Sandy Hook Elementary shootings.
The City of Sullivan held a candlelit vigil Sunday night, honoring the 27 victims of the Newtown Shooting.
People gathered and joined in song, said prayers and held a moment of silence.
The Mayor of Sullivan said the events in Newtown have deeply impacted the entire nation.
“Tragedy can happen anywhere, anytime. It can happen right here in Sullivan,” said Mayor Clint Lamb.
The vigil was held at the Sullivan County Courthouse.
