TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - College students volunteer their time to help folks in need in the community.
Students in the Triangle Fraternity from across the country are meeting with the local chapter at Rose-Hulman institute of Technology in Terre Haute.
However, these frat boys are not here to party, they are here to help the community.
A mission of the group is to teach leadership, so students did everything from staining and painting, to trimming trees.
"Part of being a leader is also knowing how to serve. So we are just getting some experience helping others," James Blake with Triangle Fraternity said.
The service projects were put together with the help of local organizations, like Hospice of the Wabash Valley.
