VINCENNES, Ind. (WTHI) - The Van Go public transportation system in Knox County will soon be getting bigger.

The system will be adding new office and maintenance space, thanks to a $465,000 grant from the America Recovery Act.

Van Go has also received a $150,000 stimulus grant to provide the equipment for the new facilities plus two new buses.

"We just keep growing and keep growing and we need more and more space and we are just thrilled to get this," said Van Go Director Nola Davis.

Officials say they expect to begin taking bids on the projects next month and hope to have all the work completed by the end of the year.
